Kehoe Medical - Case study
Managed Application Hosting
"Lucid helps medical consulting practice improve practice management system"
Kehoe medical is a UK based psychiatric consulting practice, specialising in the provision of expert psychiatric reports for court cases involving personal injury, child care proceedings, mental capacity and medical negligence.
The practice was experiencing performance and reliability issues with their practice management application, and needed to be confident the system was secure, reliable and securely backed up in line with industry best practice and legal requirements.
We provided a custom Virtual Private Server to host the company’s existing practice management system, Midex Pro. We worked with the manufacturers of the software to specify a hosting solution which was secure and provided their software with a robust platform to operate from. The system is accessible securely from Kehoe Medical’s three offices across the North of England.
Critical data is backed up nightly to a separate, secure offsite location within the UK, giving peace of mind that important information is held securely in several locations, in compliance with relevant data protection laws, and protecting the practice against data loss..
Our managed virtual servers are hosted in our UK datacentre, compliant with ISO27001. We can guarantee that our customers’ data is always stored within the UK to maintain compliance with legal and other requirements.
Kehoe Medical had been recommended to Lucid via an industry contact, based on their high standards of service, technical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
Rachel Kehoe, Director of Kehoe Medical said “we needed an IT partner we could trust with our most critical business information.”
The customer has a fast, reliable and robust platform from which to operate their core business system. They are able to manage client information, communications, and billing and with confidence that the IT infrastructure is safe in the hands of experts.
“Lucid’s service has been fantastic” Said Mrs Kehoe.
