Onsite Business Phone systems from Lucid Networks -

For businesses with more than 8-10 staff on a single site, or for customers who have a need to keep existing ISDN lines, our ProTalk Sark onsite business phone systems provide all the functionality found in our Hosted Business Phone service and more.

Scaling from 5 - 150 extensions, you should consider an onsite phone system if:

  • You have more than 8-10 extensions or staff
  • You have existing ISDN or analogue phone lines from BT or another provider which you want to continue to use
  • You are outgrowing your existing telephone system
  • Your current telephone system is coming to the end of its life
  • You want to leverage the cost, and efficiency savings and increased flexibility of Voice Over IP

Stylish, functional and environmentally friendly handsets

Each member of staff has a stylish and fully-featured telephone handset on their desk, and We offer a range of handsets for different applications, from the basic Snom 300, suitable for occasional use settings, through the Snom 320 and 370 for regular office use, to the professional Snom 870 with a colour touch-screen, ideal for high usage scenarios such as callcentres or technical staff.

Handsets offer all the usual features you'd expect from a state-of-the-art office phone system, including on-hook dialling, voicemail, call hold, and an extensive online phone book, so you can always keep track of your contacts.

Handsets can be fixed or wireless, and all our fixed handsets can be used with an optional wired or wireless headset for high-call-volume users.

Lucid Networks are proud to be a Snom Certified reseller, and a certified Sark installer, so our qualified and experienced engineers are ideally placed to help you get the best out of your investment in a phone system and handsets. Also, Snom handsets have the lowest power consumption in their class, making them an ideal choice for environmentally conscious businesses.

Benefits of a Sark Business Phone system

Just like our hosted business phone system, you can extend the system to different sites, and for larger sites, you can link several onsite systems together. Once extended, calls can be seamlessly transferred between colleagues at different sites, calls can be answered wherever an available member of staff happens to be situated, and calls between connected sites are free of charge, even if those sites are overseas.

Staff who need to work at home can also be provided with a handset, allowing them to securely make and receive calls using the company phone system.

Because Sark supports ISDN, analogue lines and Voice Over IP connections as well, you can keep your existing BT lines and still leverage the power of Voice Over IP to deliver cost savings on certain types of calls.

We can provide telephone numbers in any UK dialling code, so for example, customers in the London area could dial an 0207 or 0208 number, but the call could be answered by a colleague in your Manchester office without the caller knowing. We can also provide 0800 or 0845 numbers to give your company national reach, and improve customer service by offering free or local rate contact options to your customers. Also, Direct Dial Inward (DDI) numbers can allow callers to contact some or all of your staff directly, without the need to go via the switchboard.

The Sark Business Phone system includes the following features as standard:

  • Minimum One Month contract
  • Lifetime warranty on equipment
  • Handsets based on open standards mean no vendor lock-in
  • Telephone numbers in any UK dialling code
  • 0800 and 0845 Numbers also, to provide national reach.
  • Auto Attendant messages, with menu systems to automatically route calls to the righ department.
  • In-Queue Music & Messages
  • Dial-by-Name Telephone Directory
  • Integration with other address books, such as Microsoft Outlook
  • Voicemail for each user with the option to deliver voicemails as an e-mail attachment.
  • Call Diversion and forwarding
  • Time of the Day Routing to handle calls differently depending on time of day, or day of week.
  • Reports and Call Statistics.
